Spangle Makers is a reflective dialogue about the musical legacy of the Cocteau Twins. Andrew, Markus and various guests take us on a journey through stories, interviews and conversations exploring how and why various people have become connected to Cocteau Twin's music.
Andrew has been an avid Cocteau Twins fan since the late 1980s. Other strong music interests include Dead Can Dance, Sonic Youth, Veruca Salt, and Grimes. He is an original member of CocteauTwinsForums.com under the handle Plain Tiger, and is the promoter of CocteauFest 2025 Seattle. He enjoys playing golf in his spare time as well as spoiling his two cats, Phoebe & Sookie.
Markus has been a long time admirer of Cocteau Twins music since the 1980s. He spends his time working as an Ecologist , traveling the world and pursuing creative musical endeavors. Some of his musical projects include Surrealized, Sugar Hiccup (A Cocteau Twins Musical Tribute) and various studio projects encapsulating a post punk, shoegaze and experimental dreampop sound.
